What is the Concrete Delivery Log?
The Concrete Delivery Log is a specialized digital form available from the Field Reports page in Pegasus. It is used to track work related to concrete placement for a specified concrete type. The Concrete Delivery Log is a supplemental form meant to be completed in addition to the Daily Construction Report for a given work day.
The Concrete Delivery Log allows field users to enter material delivery ticket information and location information for each concrete delivery. The Concrete Delivery Log also displays an accumulative project total for each material type specified.
The Concrete Delivery Log workflow functions like other field reports in Pegasus, simply submit your log when ready for review and approval.
How to Create a Concrete Delivery Log
Navigate to your project's Field Reports page.
Select the Create button.
Select Concrete Delivery Log from the drop down menu.
Select a Date and Material Type (you can also add a new Material Type by typing the material name in the drop down search bar and selecting the Add New button in the drop down menu).
Select the Draft Concrete Delivery Log from the grid and select the Open button.
Use the Remarks section of the Concrete Delivery Log to enter any details or information worth noting about the work activity. Select the Save button as needed.
The Material Delivery Information section is header level information for the specific Concrete Delivery Log you created. It contains information such as the: Concrete Classification, Concrete Supplier, Testing Company, Additive, Ground Temperature AM/PM.
Select the Edit button to enter the above information. After entering the above information, select the Save button from the side blade to save your entries.
The Material Delivery Tickets section is where individual concrete ticket information should be entered. Select the Add button to continue.
From the side blade enter the following information:
Invoice # (ticket number, usually located near the top of the ticket/invoice)
Time Loaded (the time the concrete was loaded into delivery truck)
Time Arrived (the time the delivery truck arrived on site)
Time Discharged (the time the delivery truck began concrete placement)
Tons Delivered (TON) (amount of concrete delivered in tonnage)
Material Temperature (temperature of concrete when placed)
Location (Station or House Number of work taking place)
Select the Save button. Select the Save and New button to quickly add another ticket entry.
Continue to add a ticket entry for each concrete delivery of the selected Material Type that occurs on a given day (Class MS Concrete was selected for this example report).
The Project Material Delivery section displays all ticket entries for the Material Type selected on your project across all Concrete Delivery Logs (In this example, the project's running total for Class MS Concrete).
Use the Attachments section to upload relevant files and/or photos to your Concrete Delivery Log. It is a best practice to take a picture of each ticket and upload as an attachment.
Select the Upload button to upload a file to your report.
Now that your Concrete Delivery Log has been completed you can select the Submit button located at the top of the page to submit your report for review.
