Submittal Workflow and Management

Learn how to manage Submittals in Pegasus

Managing Submittals

The assigned manager is responsible for updating the status of submittals in Pegasus. Each submittal has its own detail view, similar to other project reports. From here, you can manage the submittal’s status.

Use the Change Status button to:

  • Approve – Mark the submittal as accepted.

  • Reject – Deny the submittal.

  • Send Back for Revision – Return to the creator for updates.

You can review the workflow below:

  1. Create & Submission

    1. Creator prepares the submittal with relevant references

    2. Once complete, Creator submits to the assigned Manager

  2. Manager Review

    1. Manager receives the submittal and evaluates the documentation provided

    2. Can assign up to 10 reviewers based on expertise needed

    3. Changes status to "Open" to initiate review process

  3. Review & Response

    1. Assigned Reviewer provides their expertise and responses

    2. Responses are tracked separately for each reviewer

    3. Manager can indicate if certain reviewers should be skipped

  4. Approval & Closure

    1. Manager reviews all feedback

    2. Approves submittal once all criteria are met

Submittal workflows mirror RFIs, so if you’re familiar with RFIs, you’ll find the process very similar.
